Spectral Separations- Customer/File Requirements

*RGB format files are preferred in Tiff format.

*CMYK format files can be re-separated for greater color gamut but the color accuracy may be changed.

Yellow, Violet, Cyan, K separation

Problem: Traditional SWOP CMYK separation cannot make the blue saturation of the RGB file Solution: Managedcolor Spectral separation uses both Cyan and Violet inks and black only for the gray background

CMYK inks all mix in gray background for difficult balance and Cyan ink and black ink cannot match the saturation of the blue vase
